Raymond James welcomes South Carolina advisor managing $165 million in assets
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisor Kevin Brown, AIF®, MBA, to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to Todd Gartrell, Southeast division director for RJFS.
Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Brown operates as R.E. Baxter and Associates, Inc. and provides personalized investment and financial planning to a variety of clients including business owners, corporate executives, families, individuals and retirees. He arrives from Osaic, where he managed approximately $165 million in client assets, and is joined by Office Manager Karen Rose.

Brown has provided financial planning services to clients since 1995 and most recently spent six years at Osaic. His experience is backed by a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Clemson University, an MBA from LaSalle University and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary and Certified Trust Fiduciary Advisor designations.
