The Information Technology Accelerated Development Program (IT ADP) for recent graduates offers a view into the dynamic world of corporate and financial technology and how it supports the mission of Raymond James. This non-rotational program is designed to allow associates to build their career on a specific team, gaining deep expertise and contributing meaningfully from day one.

Throughout the program, ADP associates forge relationships with key members of the IT leadership team, their cohort and other associates while engaging in a comprehensive professional training plan. From ideation to implementation, participants have the opportunity to play a key role in hands-on projects where much of the technology platform is built in-house.

Application Development & Software Engineering

Program length: 12 months

Ideal majors: computer science, engineering, management information systems or a related degree demonstrating technical aptitude

Follow a targeted software engineering or application development path focused on front end, back end or database development using various technologies and tools to bring ideas to life. In this role, you’ll not only design and build innovative solutions but also create and improve applications that directly impact the quality of service clients receive from our financial advisors, establishing the foundation of service first value of Raymond James.

Business Analysis

Program length: 12 months

Ideal majors: information systems and operations management, management information systems, information technology or a related degree

As a key member of the project team, you’ll serve as the vital link between our business and technology groups, ensuring solutions align with organizational goals. In this role, you will: analyze and document requirements, collaborate across functions, drive process improvements and develop technical and business expertise to support strategic decision-making.

Information Security

Program length: 12 months

Ideal majors: computer science, cybersecurity, information technology or a related degree demonstrating technical aptitude

Cybersecurity
Step into the demanding realm of information security to work on projects focused on safeguarding digital assets and mitigating organizational risk. Explore critical domains such as IT Security Operations, Cyber Threat Analysis and Technology Risk Management.

Enterprise Solutions
Develop expertise in enterprise technology solutions that power large-scale business operations. Engage in projects that support Infrastructure and Access, New Business Opportunities and Business Efficiency.

  • For the past six years, Raymond James has welcomed teams from universities around the country for its Capture the Flag cybersecurity challenge. Students compete against each other and a team of FBI experts to complete challenges based on real-word cybersecurity threats for a chance to win one of three cash prizes.
