Assistant to the Chair, Executive Strategy Program

There’s no better place to begin your post-MBA career than at the top. The Raymond James Assistant to the Chair, Executive Strategy Program offers high-performing, self-motivated individuals the opportunity to acquire and hone the management and leadership skills necessary to succeed at the highest levels of the firm.

About the program

Established in 1991, A2Cs initially worked exclusively with Thomas A. James, then-chair and CEO of Raymond James, leading special projects that shaped the firm’s strategy, business development and ongoing success. Under Paul Reilly’s leadership and since Paul Shoukry took the helm as CEO in 2025, the mission of the role has broadened to support other members of the Executive Leadership Team in addition to the chair and CEO.

We offer both internship and full-time opportunities through the A2C program, providing a pathway for emerging leaders to make a lasting impact at Raymond James.

As a program participant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing long-term strategic plans in partnership with senior leaders, serving as an integral part of the long-range planning process
  • Driving large-scale initiatives from origination through execution
  • Monitoring competitor movements and evaluating strategic implications
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with various functional areas across the organization
