Raymond James welcomes veteran Texas advisor managing approximately $140 million in assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisor Richard “Rick” Salmeron, CFP®, to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to Kirk Bell, Central division director for RJFS.

Salmeron arrives from Commonwealth Financial Network where he managed approximately $140 million in client assets. As Salmeron Financial (SF), based in Dallas, Texas, he provides holistic financial planning and guidance to a variety of clients including families, individuals, business owners and retirees. He is joined by client service associate, RJFS, and director of client care, SF, Melissa Humphries.

“I joined Raymond James because it’s a firm made for people who want to create, build and grow with and for their clients,” said Salmeron. “Its resources and technology let me focus on helping high-net-worth professionals turn success into lasting wealth. It's a natural fit for where I want to take my practice over the next decade and beyond.”

Salmeron began his career in 1990 at 1717 Capital Management and affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network in 2001. His 35 years of financial services industry experience are backed by a bachelor’s degree from Trinity University, an MBA from the University of North Carolina and the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation.
