Raymond James Financial announces asset management services leadership transition
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James today announced that Doug Brigman has transitioned to the role of president, Asset Management Services (AMS), completing the succession plan outlined in April. Brigman succeeds Erik Fruland, who will shift into an advisory role as he begins to prepare for retirement, after more than 34 years with the firm. As president of the division, Brigman will lead the continued advancement of the firm’s fee-based platform, with a focus on delivering investment solution strategies, world-class consultation and service excellence to support financial advisors.

A leader at the firm since 2008, as AMS chief administrative officer Brigman previously lead the research, regional consulting and administrative teams. He has also served as the president of Raymond James Insurance Group, Tampa Bay complex manager, head of Fiduciary Services, leader of the Private Client Group (PCG) Planning and Strategy team and director of the PCG cash management and lending department. Brigman earned an MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional.
Asset Management Services at Raymond James provides professionally managed portfolio options for individual and institutional investors, with choices across a spectrum of strategies and risk profiles.
