Raymond James welcomes Kansas financial advisors managing over $170 million

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisors Brett Flood and Tony Cox to Raymond James Financial Services (RJFS) – the firm’s independent advisor channel – according to Kirk Bell, Central division director for RJFS.

The advisors arrive from LPL Financial where they managed over $170 million in client assets. Based in Olathe, Kansas, they provide comprehensive financial planning and wealth management guidance to a variety of clients including families, individuals and retirees.

“Raymond James brings together the culture, technology and research needed to lead our clients with the clarity and precision they deserve,” said Flood. “Equipped with the firm’s innovative platform and the independence offered to advisors, we can prioritize guiding clients in a personalized manner that best suits their needs while maintaining our relationships at the forefront.”

Flood began his financial services career in 2001 at Invest Financial Corporation, most recently serving at LPL Financial for seven years. His experience is backed by a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas.

“What impressed me most about Raymond James is its client-first culture backed by the strength of its research and technology,” said Cox. “Having access to these resources allows us to deliver more precise strategies and a higher level of service to the families we work with.”

Cox earned his bachelor’s degrees in finance and economics from the University of Nebraska. He has over 25 years of financial services industry experience.
